Office Hours: Monday, Wednesday and Friday-9am-12pm

Milan Town Court has jurisdiction over crimes (misdemeanors), traffic violations, small claims matters and landlord/tenant matters. On felony charges, the court conducts arraignment and preliminary matters. If the charges are not reduced to misdemeanors, the Town Court transfers them to Dutchess County Court for final disposition. Criminal matters are prosecuted by the Dutchess County District Attorney’s Office. Traffic matters, Town Ordinances and Violations are prosecuted by the special prosecutor.
