If you have a pending case in the Lewisboro traffic court, don’t risk your license. Call the experienced legal professionals at the Law Offices of Harold Dee.

Mr Dee and his team of family attorneys have represented thousands of motorists in traffic courts throughout the States of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut for violations of the Vehicle and Traffic Laws. Charges have ranged from: speeding tickets, traffic tickets, cell phone violations, DWI arrests, reckless driving, suspended operators and suspended registrations, and a host of others. Harold Dee can represent you in the Lewisboro Traffic Court if you have been charged with a moving violation, DWI or any other traffic related crime.

New York State traffic courts normally allow attorneys to represent defendants with written authorization from the client, however, it is not so with Criminal Court where the Defendant’s presence is normally required. In both CT and NJ, Courts want the Defendant present in court, excepting special circumstances.

The Law Office of Harold Dee specializes in helping clients with traffic ticket violations and crimes since 1987.

Lewisboro is located fifty miles north of New York City in the extreme Northwest section of Westchester County on the Connecticut border. Lewisboro  is comprised of the Villages and Hamlets of Goldens Bridge, Vista, South Salem, Waccabuc, Cross River, Boutonville, Lake Katonah, Truesdale Lake, Twin Lake Village and Vista.

Lewisboro is located in the northeast part of Westchester County, New York and borders Connecticut. Lewisboro was named after John Lewis, a chief financier of the town. Multiple parks, reserves and lakes can be found in Lewisboro which greatly contribute to the town’s beauty. The town’s oblong shape is partly the result of the resolution of the boundary dispute between Connecticut and New York.

New York DMV doesn’t care how many miles a year you drive. The Sunday driver gets the same point allotment that a taxi driver receives. The Driver Responsibility Assessment is another surcharge on individuals who operate vehicles in N.Y. Now, if you are unlucky enough to have been found guilty of at least six points, all issued within the same 18 months, there is a DMV surcharge of $300.00 payable at once or at the rate of $100.00 annually. Failure to pay will result in a suspension of your license to operate in New York State. This applies to out of state motorists as well. To add insult to injury, there is an additional charge of $25.00 per year for each of three years for each point exceeding six. For example, if one were to accumulate ten points, the annual surcharge would be $200 or $600 over the three years. Taking the Driver Safety Course does not result in a reduction of the surcharge.

The Lewisboro  Town Court is responsible for all court matters including all moving traffic violations; civil matters, criminal cases, and small claims cases.
